Birkenhead Institute : "The Visor"

The original Visor magazines used the Latin words "Salvete" and "Valete" to welcome new pupils and to say goodbye to pupils leaving the school respectively. I have decided to use Salvete on this site to welcome new visitors to the site, many of whom are former pupils and staff of Birkenhead Institute.
