Hi my name is Neil Tudor. I was a pupil at the Tollemache Rd site from 1972 till 1979, after doing 2 yrs in the sixth form unit there... I was in the first intake for the as then "new " sixth form unit.

Im now aged 48, and find myself living on the corner of Tollemache Rd and Upton Rd... facing the new housing estate that was built on the school site! I wish it was still there

I did attend the dedication at the school, just before it was demolished.

I spent several years working in local government... then 17 yrs as a firefighter with Merseyside Fire Brigade, I now make a living as a musician and lookalike, to Paul McCartney.. who I have worked with as his "double" on several occasions!

I loved my days at the school... never to be forgotten.. and the pupils and good times there are fondly remembered.. I even dream about those days sometimes.. particularly "football" dreams... !!..... we had a good school team in those days.. I represented the Merseyside County schools team... and was presented with my "school colours" at assembly one morning to mark the honour... I had never been aware of such an honour being presented in my years as a pupil and was over the moon".. I still have them somewhere(it was worn over the school badge) and I also still have my "house" tie.."Cohen" and the sixth form green and Blue Visor tie...

I attended the closing ceremony at the school in the nineties... and it is there that i was given a tie from each "house" in addition to a replacement one for the Cohen tie I had lost.. unfortunately, someone threw the others out in a tidy up some years ago !! damn them !!
